1. Introduction
-------------------
The Take It or Leave It virtual game is based on Nelonen's entertainment show, where cool nerves, strategy, and good luck play a crucial role. No unnecessary questions, long decision times, or lucky wheels. Humility, modesty, and excessive caution won't help in this game. Even general knowledge might not be of much use.

Take It or Leave It requires patience, courage, steady nerves, strategic vision – and, of course, luck. The player is asked only one, but very important question: "Do you accept the banker’s offer?" The grand prize is €500,000.

The Take It or Leave It game is based on the globally popular Deal or No Deal format. It does not require extensive general knowledge or quick reflexes: the player simply needs to make the deal of their life at just the right moment. The game closely follows the Finnish version on Nelonen, with only a few minor exceptions.

2. Game Instructions
--------------------------
In Take It or Leave It, there are 26 numbers. Behind each number is a randomly placed cash prize ranging between €0–500,000. Initially, the player selects one number to play with. Then, from the remaining 25 numbers, the player selects six numbers in the first round to reveal. The amounts revealed are removed from the game’s "money tree," where all the cash prizes are displayed.

After six numbers have been opened, the banker makes the first offer based on the player's chosen number. After the banker’s offer, the player faces the decisive question: "Do you accept the banker’s offer?" If the player accepts, this offer becomes the final prize amount, and the game ends.

If the player rejects the offer, the game continues. In the second round, the player opens five numbers, after which the banker makes a new offer. Again, the player faces a tough choice: "Accept the offer or continue playing and aim for an even larger sum?"

If the game continues, one fewer number is opened in each subsequent round, eventually down to one number per round. After each round, the banker makes a new offer. The bank’s offer always depends on the amounts revealed. Large sums reduce the banker’s offer, and vice versa. A single wrong number can drastically lower the offer and ruin the player's game.

If the player’s nerves hold and luck is on their side, the game continues until only three numbers remain. The banker makes the final offer. If this is rejected, the player chooses one number to remove. Afterward, the player must decide whether to keep their originally chosen number or swap it for the other remaining number.

The chosen number is then revealed, and it becomes the final prize amount. Tension and stress are released. The ordeal is over. But did the player make a good deal, or should they have ended the game differently? There’s no point in second-guessing now. The game is over. Good luck!

3. How Does the Virtual Format Differ from the Finnish Version?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The virtual format has a few small differences compared to the Finnish version:

Key Differences:
At the end, the player can choose which briefcase they want to keep. The banker does not make an offer after three briefcases remain. All winnings are purely virtual and cannot be redeemed as real money.

4. Known Bugs
------------------
- The "click" sound may play twice in certain situations.

- Selecting an already opened number may still trigger a "click" sound.

- Game variables are not manually reset but are cleared automatically when returning to the main menu.

- The Hq-mode might slow down the game in later stages.

- The mouse cannot be moved during the banker’s offer phase (this is a feature, not a bug).

5. Hq-mode
---------------
Hq-mode does not affect the game rules or gameplay in any way. It introduces visual and audio effects, which may cause performance issues on weaker computers. By default, this feature is turned off.

If the game starts to lag significantly during the later stages, disable Hq-mode in the main menu.

6. Other Notes
-------------------
The game sounds and background music can be turned off from the main menu.

High-score lists have not been implemented. The game is freeware and can be freely shared and copied, as long as the contents are not altered. Reload Soft is not responsible for any damage the game may cause to hardware or software.
